Monarch is a converted trawler. Acquired as an ex-trawler, converted and lived on by us for over ten years, she's now for sale.
Perfect family liveaboard / houseboat:
Kitchen / Dining Area; Office Space, Double bedroom, three single berths, bath
* Built in the 50's, Larch on Oak
* Completely gutted and rebuilt with new superstructure
* Double berth in bow, two single berths in stern, one other berth mid-ships
* Living area with wood burning stove
* 'Wet' central heating (aka radiators), with recently new diesel heater, dedicated 200l tank in stern compartment
* Shore supply connected (in marina), with some 24v lighting. Back up inverter and batteries (new 2 years)
* Caterpillar 3406B Marine
* Painted canvas decks (easy maintenance)
When we bought Monarch, she was moored near Scotland and we brought her south under her own steam. The engine was removed to be cleaned up, new hoses, etc.
*** The engine is being recommissioned ***
Everywhere inside has been repainted
She's moored in a marina on the south coast in the most beautiful location (inland harbour) near the South Downs and Solent.
