Stepping aboard this Newbridge Pioneer I found it really difficult to believe that it is only a 26 foot boat. There seems to be ample room for a proper galley, a proper chart table, ample seating and an aft cabin. And all of this is made to feel even more spacious by the very nice light upholstery. Sitting in the saloon one is impressed by how light and airy it actually feels.
This boat also ticks so many boxes in terms of its equipment and most of the major cost items have all been replaced in the past few years.
Definitely one worth a look. A cracking little family cruiser.

The Pageant was designed for Westerly by Laurent Giles in 1969, as a replacement for the earlier Nomad.
As with all other Westerly Marine yachts the Pageant was very strongly built to Lloyds specifications, which meant that the building processes were rigorously monitored and all materials had to be approved by Lloyds in order that a hull certificate could be issued.
And still today, some 36 years later, this still still feels a very safe, solid little boat. She has given her current owners five years of pleasure and is now looking for a new owner with whom to do the same.

Premier Houseboats are pleased to present this MFV in good condition with a substantial amount of work completed on her. Ready for the season, perfect for living aboard or cruising off into the sunset. FORECABIN: with 2 single berths in V-form, currently made into a double berth. Aft to galley to port and heads to starboard. The galley is in U-form with 2-burner gas hob, grill and oven. S/s sink with pressurised H& C water. The surround has work-top surfaces with lockering under. Deck-head ventilator. The heads compartment has the classic Baby Blake marine toilet, with hand basin and shower. Aft to main cabin fitted out in marine ply, with varnished hardwood surface. Bench seating is in L-form with a further bench seat to the far side. The potential is 2 berths. One side of the cabin is cupboard with worktop. Traditional skylight fitted, which opens for ventilation as well as light. Up to the wheelhouse which is across the fore part of the superstructure, and offers 360 degree vision through traditional MFV type windows. The central helm position is with large spoked wheel with navigation equipment and engine controls around and above. Above the windows is a flag locker with traditional markings and flags. The helmsmans seat is folding with room for 2-3 standing persons. An opening for the Deck Cabin aft allows use of chart table mounted in that space. Aft, passing the deck entrance to the wheelhouse is the deck cabin with seating around all four sides and table. The space also has windows fitted to three sides and has good visibility aft. The seating makes into 2/3 berths. A companionway leads down to the aft cabin where there is a large single berth to one side and a less wide single to the other in V-form under the aft deck. A chest of drawers and other stowage in the spaces offers good accommodation. There is a heads compartment with marine toilet. Sink with H& C water is fitted. A solid door leads to the engine room with the centrally positioned engine which has good accessibility. The electrical switchboard is on the forward bulkhead. Fuel and water tanks are also in this space. Cream covers, with beige vinyl.
Oil fired heater in fore cabins. Webasto diesel central heating. Hull is of carvel timber construction with larch planking on the top sides and larch planking below the waterline on oak frames. The garboard strakes are pitchpine. The decks are laid pitch pine planking on oak deck beams.
The coach roof and wheelhouse coamings are painted galvanised mild steel. Marine ply coach house encapsulated in GRP on roof. Long keel.
